Haringey Association for Independent Living
Haringey Association for Independent Living (HAIL) is a voluntary organisation. We support people with a learning disability to access housing within the community. We also offer support to help people become more independent, to make choices, and have control over their own lives.
We provide services which meet individual need, person centred planning helps with supporting what people need at the present time, it also looks at future support to help people achieve there own wishes and aspirations. We try very hard to include people with a learning disability themselves listening to what they say. We learn from this to adapt our services to get better at what we do.
Learning Disabilities Awards Framework and NVQ
We value the staff who work for HAIL and we support them through induction and training. We support them to achieve and grow within the organisation using the Learning Disabilities Awards Framework (LDAF) and National Vocational Qualifications (NVQ) to give staff the skills and competencies needed to support people who use our service.
