Service Users
The people we support are the reason for us being here. We value that they have chosen to have their services provided by HAIL. Through their input, our service users have helped us to learn more about how they want their service to be delivered; this has helped our staff to improve their working practices. We are continuing to involve service users in planning the composition and delivery of their own services, and in developing plans for the future of HAIL.
We do this by:
- continuing to develop a forum for service users, so as to enable them to say what they want and for us to listen
- supporting forum representatives to attend management committee meetings
- continue to support service users with resources to run a group (the 'events group'), which organises events for fellow service users
- continue to produce accessible information about our services for our service users
- continue to develop new services which extend the range of choices for people with learning disabilities
- monitoring services using a 'service users satisfaction survey' and review by the management committee
